S&S: What’s your style of music? How do you describe it?
TT: My style of music is pretty much a mixture of Old & New House Music, HI Energy, Old School Hip Hop & 70’s & 80’s Disco Music

S&S: Who or what was most instrumental to you when it came to music?
TT: Honestly it was a mixture of Family & what I listened to on the radio. My mom wanted me to play an instrument & at the same time I remember listening to some of the sickest DJs on the radio. So i knew then and there
I wanted to become a DJ

    S&S: What drives you creatively?
TT: Family. When it comes to DJing or making music, my family will always push me to never give up & gives me that push to stand out from the rest and to show my potentials

S&S: How much does your audience influence you and your music selection?
TT: I would say its 100% of an influence because People who know what I spin know ill either take them back to the old days of Disco, Hi Energy & House Music or give them a treat of the new House sounds.

S&S: What artists or genres do you listen to when you’re not working?
TT: When i’m not spinning, ill usually listen to a mixture of dusties, disco, 80s, hi energy, rock, old school hip hop & old school house.

S&S: Do you have any favorite memories of growing up with your family?
TT: I have way too many great memories but Honestly I would have to say the best memory is when my family first heard me on the radio introducing Chicago Talent.

S&S: Is there anything you would like people to know about you?
TT: Im a Sagitarius lol I kid. Well i’m not really sure what I would like people to know about me besides that I spin & make music. I guess its up to the person reading this.

S&S: Are there any charities you are working with or excited to tell us about?
TT: Currently I am not but I have in the past.

S&S: Are there any questions that you wish people would ask you?
TT: I’ve really never thought about that, but I would leave that open to the reader.

S&S: And on the flip side of that, are there any questions or references you wish people would stop asking or using?
TT: OH YA! I’m not a big fan of people saying “I’m gonna book you” and they never do or they do book you just to take you off or “can I pay you in drinks” when I don’t drink…True story!

S&S: What artist(s) have you been the most excited to work with?
TT: DJing wise there have been a lot! Music wise id have to say the best is yet to come.

S&S: Are there any artists that you dream of working with on a collaboration?
TT: I really don’t have one in general but I believe anyone that comes in your life can be either a blessing or a curse.

S&S: What can we look forward to next from you?
TT: Currently with my music label you can definitely expect a lot of surprises with new music from different producers from Chicago & around the globe. When it comes to spinning tunes, ill be going back out of state and hopefully out of country.

S&S: What legacy would you like to leave?
TT: Once my time comes, I want people to remember the things I’ve done to contribute to the House music scene here in Chicago, Whether it was on the radio, a festival or spinning at a club and making the crowd dance. I want people to remember that I did my part in contributing in the music I love we call House Music.
