    Q&A by S&S

S&S: What’s your style of music? How do you describe it?
Mirelle Noveron: I love playing and producing House music, I like to work instrumental melodies and include saxophones, violins and pianos as well as create backgrounds that include many percussion’s, very latin as well.

S&S: Who or what was most instrumental to you when it came to music?
Mirelle Noveron: My family instilled in me the instrumental music as well as disco music, I could tell that I love the merger carried out in DJ Meme productions, who has been a great influence for me.

    S&S: What drives you creatively?
Mirelle Noveron: Listening to lots of music allows me to capture new things in my productions, also transport me to places where I would like to hear my songs, it causes me to make new melodies.

S&S: How much does your audience influence you and your music selection?
Mirelle Noveron: Definitely every time I play in an event my goal and commitment to the public is to make them dance and enjoy with my DJ set, the fact of feeling their good vibe and get them a smile means that is being fulfilled that goal.

S&S: What artists or genres do you listen to when you’re not working?
Mirelle Noveron: I listen to all kinds of music, but especially instrumental music, disco and salsa are that I like to listen to and enjoy.

S&S: Do you have any favorite memories of growing up with your family?
Mirelle Noveron: My childhood was very special, my family has always been United and they have always supported me in all aspects, I remember at the age of five we went to Disneyland with my mom and seeing Mickey Mouse I got excited very much and wouldn’t shout ” Mickey, Mickey, Mickey” and nor stopped to hug him even when other people wanted take photo with him , LOL.

S&S: Is there anything you would like people to know about you?
Mirelle Noveron: Music has always been my passion however I have another and that many do not know, that is the soccer, I wanted to devote myself 100% in my teenage years, however the life and fate took me another way, I am also big fan of video games, my favorite saga is Gears of War.

S&S: Are there any charities you are working with or excited to tell us about?
Mirelle Noveron: I always like to support good and noble causes, each that I have opportunity to collaborate with my talent or support in kind, with taste I do, I have supported my community with water, clothing, food, and necessary to help and support those people at critical times.

S&S: Are there any questions that you wish people would ask you?
Mirelle Noveron: I like that people ask me about my career as a DJ and music producer and show them that I am not a DJ producer emerging from nothing, but it has cost me not only years of cut stones, but of sacrifices have been worth it.. I like also to ask me the labels that I have signed my themes since with great pride I can say that I am in the best of House Music as S&S Records ☺

S&S: And on the flip side of that, are there any questions or references you wish people would stop asking or using?
Mirelle Noveron: Until now nobody has been asking me things that I don’t like or want to stop asking for the moment everything is welcome ☺

S&S: What artist(s) have you been the most excited to work with?
Mirelle Noveron: Each collaboration has been extremely important in my musical career and each one has a special place, the collaborations that most touched me have been which I do with Eddie Amador and Willy Sanjuan, also performed with Dany Cohiba, are jobs that have given me much knowledge and experience…

S&S: Are there any artists that you dream of working with on a collaboration?
Mirelle Noveron: I would love to make collaboration with DJ Skip & Steve Silk Hurley, which are major producers and legends of the House also I would like with DJ Meme since I love his style of production and also is one of my inspirations when it comes to making music.

S&S: What can we look forward to next from you?
Mirelle Noveron: Lately I’m working on many House productions and I am also preparing my next EP for S&S Records, really I am eager to listen to it, I’m also experimenting with new genres and sounds that maybe at the beginning had not been able to capture, however experience and musical culture have been giving it me.

S&S: What legacy would you like to leave?
Mirelle Noveron: The love and respect for the real House music, in these times people say that all the tracks are House no matter what they really are. Actually they aren’t, I also like when people hear a song of mine and say: “Hey this track is the Mexican Mirelle Noveron”. I love my country and it is something that I’ve always wanted, to recognise the country where I was born and live.
